About Me:
Hi, my name is Jason Sutherland Hsu (pronounced “shoe”)
I am a mixed Chinese-American photographer working in San Francisco and in New York. This year, I also worked in Puerto Rico, London, Chicago, and Iceland.
My multi-year portrait project Mixed Blood seeks to explore the otherness and ambiguity experienced by first mixed-race generation Asians. This project currently has over 70 participants.
